Appeal after sheep shot with crossbow
POLICE are appealing for information after two sheep were found - one dead and one injured - having been shot with arrows.
Police say the injuries to the sheep were caused by arrows shot from a bow or crossbow.
They were found on farmland near Heol Las, Nelson yesterday.
If anyone had seen anything suspicious or anyone carrying a bow or crossbow they are asked to call Gwent Police on 101 quoting log number 115 26/11/14.
