POLICE are appealing for information after an 11-year-old boy was approached by a man in Blackwood.
An boy was walking down Fairview Hill when he was approached by a man. As the man came towards him the boy started to run. The man raised his arm as if in attempt to catch hold of him but failed to so and didn't run after the boy.
The suspicious incident happened in Blackwood at around 8.25pm on Wednesday (November 19th).
The boy returned home safely and was not harmed.
The man is described as being mixed race, clean shaven and in his late 30s. He had dark messy hair and was wearing dark baggy trousers and a dark top which may have had a zip up the front.
Anyone with information about this incident should call 101 quoting 473 19/11/14. Anyone with concerns should speak to their local Neighbourhood Policing Team.
